A “magnificent” bird of prey often seen in the north of the country was spotted in Hampshire.

The osprey was seen swooping over Beaulieu River at the weekend hunting for its breakfast.

Jordan Callaghan, a member of the Daily Echo Camera Club on Facebook, shared a series of photos of the impressive bird.
