And all the while China is going all in on renewables and building better infrastructure to support it. They will surpass the US in every single way if they haven't already as the US plunges itself back into the 50s. All so the rich can make more money and the politicians can get their money from them.
China is going all in on energy generation, renewable and not. China is polluting more, not less, as a result. And energy use is no predictor of progress in other areas. There is not a constant conversion of KWh consumed to units of GDP produced. It's variable between countries and over time.
