- have you heard about the fantastical re-interpretation of this passage that the rich have landed on? That there is a tiny gate in jerusalem called The Needle that would be difficult for a camel to get through with baggage. But it could be done, so it's okay to have more than your share!   I heard this as far back as the 90s at a poor, tiny church.
  
  It originally came from an Italian merchant in the 1100s.
