All 54 lost clickwheel iPod games have now been preserved for posterity

Always happy to hear about things getting preserved like this.
Awesome. I loved those games.
I also loved playing Doom on the thing when I installed Linux on it briefly. 🤣

I can’t believe so many were made. I can’t believe your average person could find them and purchase them and sync them. It was basically a proto Apple Store.
Anyone else still use their old clickwheel iPod or just me?
- Had mine flashmodded and battery upgraded, continue to happily use on walks.

- I had mine going until the battery went spicy pillow about a year and a half ago and I haven't had time to replace it yet.
  
  That reminds me I need to refresh my backups and prepare for the day the HDD gives out.
I do actually remember having the Sonic games, or at least the first one pictured in the thumbnail.
- I've been complaining about no longer having access to the original Sonic game for iPod for years! There wasn't even a way to pirate it up until now. I'm excited to finally replay it with the controls I first learned Sonic on.
