Ford to recall nearly 1.5 million vehicles in US over faulty rear-view camera, NHTSA says

This is such bullshit that they can selectively pick and choose which models to include in recalls based on stuff like sales numbers. This is the second or third recall for an issue that has affected my wife's Edge but didn't include it in the recall. One of the other ones was for their shitty ABS controller which corrodes internally and sticks open causing the brakes to lose nearly all braking pressure, which happened to her car last summer as she drove to work and cost me $900 in just parts alone and about 15 hours of my time to replace myself. They excluded her model year from the recall for this too.

These cars are such pieces of shit it's no wonder Ford is trading for $11/share.

The recall affects select vehicles from model years 2015 to 2019 of Lincoln MKC, Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, Expedition, Edge, Transit, Transit Connect, Econoline and Ranger, NHTSA said.
