I've seen a lot of posts condemning political violence. Newsom, Bernie, Harris, Waltz, AOC.
- I haven't seen any of them praising the assassination of Palestinians though.
Then there must be some mismatch between what actual liberal leaders are saying, and their followers.

This would be more meaningful if the type of person posting it wasn't doing the exact same thing with the parties reversed. Why is it so terrifying for people to have a modicum of compassion and empathy for all sentient life, or if not that at least human life. Having compassion and empathy is not endorsement, is not supporting their cause, does not reduce you.

I celebrate Kirk's murder precisely because I have empathy. I am fully aware of the harm Kirk and his ilk have caused. How many women were sexually assaulted because their rapists were motivated by Kirk? How many minorities were discriminated against or had hate crimes perpetrated against them because of Charlie 'I Think Empathy Isn't Real' Kirk? It is impossible to have empathy for people and not hate Kirk's guts.

- Yeah but to complete the square, there has to be praise for the murder of Palestinian politicians. I assume that's about the strike in Doha and a brief search only shows them "being concerned" over it, not praising it. Of course it's a meme so there's no point litigating the accuracy to the T. I'm sure things aren't the same behind closed doors. But if there's a src for the lib praising Palestinian politicians' deaths that would be helpful.
