The Irish state broadcaster RTÉ has said it will not take part in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest "if the participation of Israel goes ahead".
Israel: "We are a 10,000 year old nation of ethnic Israelis with distinct customs and culture tied to this very piece of soil, squarely afixed to Asia Minor."
Also Israelis: "Let us into Eurovision. We're all Europeans over here and our PM is basically from Philadelphia."

They can't do that. They'd be forced to compete against Arabs, which would be intolerable. The Israeli team would show up wearing a semtex fest.
