Yup. Wanting to abuse/neglect children because they're trans seems pretty unambiguously transphobic to me.
Christian
Yes. I mean look, "not all Christians", for sure. But it's not a good indicator. Then you say she repented for being trans. One does not repent for what one does not see as a sin. Personally I'm over giving Christians the benefit of the doubt. If you think someone deserves infinite suffering for anything (which IS what you believe if you are Christian, even if you don't want to admit it), then you're basically a huge idiot or a huge asshole, or most likely both.
Amen.
I would lowkey say yeah. 🥲 🥲
High key yeah
I wouldn't saying trans-phobic because real phobias are stigmatized enough already, and the word removes agency from transmisia/anti-trans. But yes this isn't a goof thing to say it sounds like they have a lot of internalised hatred toward themself and are using christianity to "escape" their deep shame of themself. But thats not to direct all blame away from christianity here, lv 20:13 straight up commands the genocide of gay israelites, and the only reason yahweh the all loving all forgiving god doesn't command death for gay people today is because jesus took the death punishment on gay peoples behalf.
The "Christian" label makes it sound like like some new age conversion therapy.
They don't call it conversion therapy anymore but it is for sure still going on all over.
