Too much food in the trash: Finland risks EU fines for failing to sort waste properly

Money. Not fines, no. Payouts. Bring in the kg of biowaste and get a nice coin. Bag of glass bottles? More coins! People need some stimulation, no just abstract ass-kick with "YOU SHOULD DO IT OR ELSE!" slogan. Kids, homeless, workless would be glad. And those payments might even be cheaper than paying somme fines to the EU.

But I'm just talking. I know nothing about Finland, EU, garbage or even money.
