I wonder though, what would be the point in painstakingly hollowing it out, if not to store a liquid? And yet storing a liquid seems borderline ridiculous in something so elegant and pricey.
Maybe something like perfume? Expensive, used once a day, more a statement piece to look at rather than it be super useful. But still could be used.
