Regarding the fall of the Soviet Union
Would anyone here have a good book or evaluation of the end of the soviet union from a communists perspective? "The Communist" was a fascinating glimpse into a time period that I only have one perspective on. But there was way more to the experiment then whats in the movie. It's such a small slice and concludes before the passing of comrade Ilyich. Even if it's just a different narrative, it's just so refreshing to get these other ways of thought. We are drowning in ignorance over here in America.
Socialism betrayed is a good book, sometimes falls into "Great Man Theory", but it's overall a good analysis
Thank you! I will check it out.
