We do work at a couple of coal fired plants, and they are falling apart. Everything is old, everything is bandaid fixed, everything for the past decade has been getting run down because there was the expectation it was about to be shut down.
It's going to result in a fortune being spent unnecessarily. Which is usually Liberal policy.
Australia could cover a tenth of a percent of the otherwise completely useless outback in solar farms and have enough solar power to supply the country. Short of the Sahara desert, literally the best place on the globe to generate PV power.
Fucking wankers.
