What an utter clusterfuck for Israel.

25x more civilian deaths than the original attack by Hamas. More civilian deaths in a 3-month period than during the assault on Mosul, Ukraine, or Syria.
50% of all civilian housing destroyed.
Global support for Palestinians has risen.
Palestinian support for Hamas has tripled.
Global support for Israel has dropped.
The tone coming out of their staunchest ally, the US has shifted dramatically in 3 months from being lockstep, to referring to Israel's bombings as "indiscriminate," and denying assets like Apache helicopters.
Netanyahu expecting a war-time bump still remains unpopular inside Israel, from botched intelligence action to killing unarmed Israeli hostages carrying literal white flags.
Both before and after October 7th, Israel has been responsible for the vast majority of civilian deaths. That's not someone who is better than terrorists.
Such collateral damage will only breed further, deeper radicalization for decades to come. We need look no further than 20 years of failed US middle east policy.

This is collective punishment. This is genocide.

- Well it's not like settler colonialism failed in places like the US, Australia, South Africa, and other places. They just hope to do the genocide now, then in 50 years everyone will forget or want to move past it, and they can make sad movies about it and pretend they feel bad about it.
