Does anyone actually use Threads? I don't know one person who uses it.
- According to Facebook, everyone with an Instagram account uses threads (because they pretty much automatically signed them all up for it).
And then they'll start charging for it in 2027.
- I'm pretty sure they make a lot more money from selling your data than they can possibly make from charging for the API.

I am not a fan of Meta or Zuckerberg at all. And I don't trust them as far as I could throw them (with either personal data or any assumptions that they won't renage on this idea in a year or twos time). But this sly "fuck you reddit" announcement made me chuckle.
