The shopping cart that has a POS built-in sounds like what they should’ve gone with all along. I feel like that’s actually a pretty decent idea, and on hearing it I’m kind of surprised that hasn’t been done already.
- Stop n shop just has handheld scanners you take around.
I would assume that "fake it till you make it" does not work in the tech space.
- What they did makes sense, they tried to train ai model and their target was it will be proficient enough to use just 20-30 people. It is not about faking, they just were feeding data to the model with a plans to reduce workforce with time. But their ai failed.
- Kickstarter and the like pretty much have that locked up.
