Sometimes rain isn't a bad thing. The coolness and freshness of the air you'll feel right after a heavy downpour has always been so refreshing.

This whole memory deserves a post of it's own somewhere.

What. The. Ever. Loving. How is the audit log not just a simple access log!? How can the AI even choose not to log it? Why not just call it the "AI feels like writing it down" log then?

I get those surreal, almost purple views at sunset sometimes. Haven't gotten many sunrises that look quite as good.

Oh, reading a manual is a very involved process for me. First, I'll put the task in my bullet journal, then I'll postpone it to the next week, then to the month, then to the next month. And then, if I feel lucky, I'll bring it back into my daily log, and postpone it a few more days before getting annoyed with writing it down so many times that it could fill a full page, and finally reading it.

When I get annoyed by some internet stranger's conduct online, I don't engage. I disengage. Life's too short to get worked up over the little things I find, and we'll all feel better when we don't engage in that negativity.

Yes, I've blocked people without ever saying a single word. Sometimes while lurking, I'll find some conduct (not beliefs, conduct) that I disagree with. I don't then go on and admonish them, I make them "disappear" from my life, then go on thinking about what I should eat for dinner.

Meh, too much hassle. And not sending the right message. If I'm not engaging the content for being easily available to the point I don't even know they exist, it's a far stronger message to the companies that their greed doesn't pay at all. Than them getting "we need to protect our IP from them damn pirates! Quick, lobby the politicians to pass sum lawls" out of it.

Yes, deleting all the old backup Linux kernels was something I had done before in a 128GB SSD. I then had to delete the Time shift entries as well to actually get that space back.

I've been applying some of what I've read from How to Win Friends and Influence People, and it seems to work out a little bit. Though ADHD would rear it's ugly head sometimes and I would slip from the impulsive tendency to keep something going way past when it should stop.

Wish physical media would come back, including reprints. I don't even know where to watch a lot of things these days with how everything is scattered all over every subscription service imaginable.

Remind me not to go to the US anytime soon. Such a lack of checks and balances against an administration hell bent on arbitrarily seriously injuring swaths of people on a whim is rather concerning. It wouldn't be impossible for me at this point to arbitrarily be deported into some random despot country were I ever to try to visit, even if I didn't do anything illegal, and have all my paperwork in order. That is very concerning.

The rule of law is there to protect as much as it is to assert control. What the supreme court is doing here, even if not in technically, would be approximating forgoing the rule of law entirely.
