We as a people need to stop listening to this guy or anything he says. Its a fucking bummer because I remember years and years ago when he seemed like a really cool innovative genius. Now he's shone himself to be a consistent liar and jerk. Stop letting this dudes bullshit words have any impact. Especially on the market....

It has nothing to do with religion for me personally. Its about the reported slave labor, journalist killings, lack of rights for women and the countries connection to 9/11. Saying the US is killing people doesn't help or clarify anything. It's disingenuous and attempts to dismiss a legitimate criticism. Also, like I said, I'm genuinely not "above" consuming media from a country I think is bad. I haven't missed a UFC event in more than a decade. That company does shitty things but they don't really lie about them. The comedians I'm concerned with have made their careers (in some cases) talking about completely antithetical ideas/topics to Saudia Arabian media, culture and journalism.

That's true, I guess I just hoped for better after using the site for over a decade. I figured this going public thing would lead to less offensive/violent content. I didn't think it would lead to my banning.

So, what, Ideally, should happen to "settler-colonies" like the US, Australia and New Zeland. Because human rights violations happen in one place doesnt excuse them happening in another. They can all be bad...

That's ban evasion and would give them an actual reason to ban me.

I understand your point. Can't well complain about it there though can I? Moreso just interested to hear other people's experience and opinion on the matter.

I tend to agree with this stance. Particularly hypocritical of one of my top 5 favorites Bill Burr.

Unfortunately, when I got shadow banned, I wasn't told who did it or why it happened. I responded frequently to askreddit questions and never said anything aggressive or offensive.
