A speedy trial is a constitutional right. We shouldn't have someone sitting in prison for years, waiting to go on trial.

While Elon hate has hurt the brand, the main issue is the cost of the cars, interest rates and insurance. The economy is just OK. There is a lot of FUD in the economy right now.

If someone serves twenty years and wants to take hormones on the government dime, I have no issue with it.

The issue is the hormones. Since it is "life-saving" care, they need it in the field, which isn't conducive to being deployed. If someone is trans, but doesn't take hormones, let them stay in.

I also have no issue paying for hormones or surgery when they retire. I do not think trans benefits should be cut for people who have RETIRED from the military. Hell if someone wants a boob job, I have no issues when they retire.

I agree with the ban. Any other medical condition of a similar nature would get you the boot. That said Congress should settle this one way or the other.

For this style of instance. They’re about the only game in town. The others haven’t grown or failed. I will give the lemmy developers credit. They’re dragged this software along where other have failed. I believe this is classified as a link aggregator.

The problem with the grouping of servers running lemmy is they are the Nazi problem. I am not an overly political person, I lean right but I call it more common sense and personal responsibility. On Lemmy, they turn everything political and rarely have a sense of humor. It's why most of them were kicked off other platforms because of their extreme views.

If you have ever watched silicon valley, you will understand the issues with the fediverse.

Technically, lemmy is just using a protocol that allows it to federate with other people using that protocol. Many of the leftist went to Lemmy because they were kicked off the other platforms for the Nazi Bar Problem. The developers of lemmy didn't create the protocol. They are using Lemmy as their version of the software using that protocol. The same protocol used by threads, etc

Being a man isn't a costume you wear. I encourage everyone to get the proper medical care for their biology but stop pretending we are a costume you can wear.
