  • Sounds like victim blaming to me. Have a great day.

  • It's an easy boycott for me. Too dang much plastic packaging. Besides we have a decent co-op closer to my house.

  • I haven't used this in years! TY for reminding me.

  • There was significant mis-information, which caused that uneducated choice. People didn't all randomly come up with it by themselves. Blame the con-artist, not the victim of the confidence trickery.

  • 5 Years, if only he had tried an insurrection at the same time, would have been given 4 weeks parole.

  • The resolution isn't great for the free account, and one can definitely see where the methane emissions are coming from. I checked a few of the oil fields in my state. :-( At least it's not as bad as TX. smh

  • NIfty! Is this data available to the general public? There's some places I'd like to check.

  • With a tiny sharp one could snip off the heart crusher.

  • Don't

  • Don't

  • I had the ones mentioned off already, but just went and shut off all the ones that I don't absolutely need notifications active. Good reminder.

    Wendigo
    Mythical creature

Wendigo is a mythological creature or evil spirit originating from Algonquian folklore. The concept of the wendigo has been widely used in literature and other works of art, such as social commentary and horror fiction. The wendigo is often said to be a malevolent spirit, sometimes depicted as a creature with human-like characteristics, which possesses human beings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendigo

  • I was assuming the article said, "the GOP is embarrassing." It's embarrassing, Republicans - seems self evident. I mean, it's not like 10 minutes when by and they didn't get anything done. Weeks, months, years have gone by with GOP demonstrating no interest in governing; of course they haven't accomplished anything.

  • I saw one come up from the ground one time, and they appear very delicate at that point. It didn't take long for it to find a place in the sun, the wings to uncurl, and harden, then it flew away. I'm seeing some recipes, basically fry and toss with salt, spices, lime, etc. I'm not in The Zone for this one, but there are always some around here in season.

    Yay for Artie Shaw!!

  • What exactly am I seeing here? Tires, hay, and they are wetting it down with some slurry? In front of some fancy building?

  • d'oh! beat me to it! LoL :-D

"Kritsky noted on his website, cicadasafari.org, that it's rare to have a dual emergence between Broods XIII and XIX, an occurrence that only happens once every 221 years." Ooh, go check out the website. Super nifty cicada info!!

Illinois and SE US should be the big locations. Anyone got cicada recipes they want to share?

  • I find it disturbingly funny.
