  • Spotify is stealing from artists too. I’m just not lining that corporations pockets. I still buy albums from band camp and go to shows and buy merch — all much more direct impactful ways of supporting the artists.

  • Or - and this seems to have escaped your analysis - in this case we’re talking about health and safety rules and rules dealing with food preparation. Not exactly the kind of rules you want to be gambling with. But sure. It’s a feee world, do what you want. But I still wouldn’t want to be using this with my coffee.

  • Yes, absolutely. Coffee grounds rubbing up against rough 3d printed plastic is going to act like little grinders pulling off bits of of plastic directly into the grounds.

    Not to say that we all haven’t already lost the microplastics speed run. I am concerned about the things you listed, but yeah, I wouldn’t want anything 3d prone to be so close to so many small hard moving pieces of food.

  • Redshirts suuuuuuuucked. Good lord I could barely stomach getting through it after absolutely adoring Kaiju Preservation Society. The audiobook being narrated by Wesley Crusher didn’t help certainly but that was some of the most pat, ham fisted deus ex machina bullshit I’ve ever read. And the premise “no actually we’re just in a *badly written show * does nothing to make those chapters easier to stomach’s.

  • Hard disagree. It certainly has strengths and outperforms Dalle3 in some ways but in other ways Dalle3 is still the best handler of text and prompt interpretation. And neither have the flexibility of stable diffusion/SDXL
