  • If you have permissions then try editibg uwsgi.ini and see if it lets you save.

Im going from memory but i think i had a similar issue and i had to manually create the file, yours shows the file already exists but it might not be writable.

  • try opening a shell with ' docker exec -it searxng sh" and see if you can cat the file from inside docker, if yes then I'm not sure of a solution ,if no then the problem is with permissions on your filesystem outside of docker where you have " - ./data/searxng:/etc/searxng" You need to go to ./data/searxng and correct the permissions so they can be read inside the docker.

  • Its your cat right? So just "forget" her phone on the car, or have her phone forget the connection to the car when she isnt actively using it.

I guess it depends on the car but my phone is paired to multiple friends cars, its never kicked them off just because my phone also connected, you might want to see if there is firmware updates for the cars blutooth.

  • Given the switch is exploitable at the hardware level, i doubt there is anything nintendo can do beyond not allowing use of their online services.

They said a similar thing about 3ds cfw, yet we dont see any reports of it actually happening.

  • It doesnt sound very anonymous. If the info is "visable to authorities" then its not very private.

Paypal and most other services already allow for payments to be "private" but visable to authorities.

People who actually want private and anoymous payments already use crypto.

  • I tried it about a week ago but since i have zero interest in alternatives to systemd or gui tools I find its easy to just install something that uses the things i want by default.

If you enjoy having that extea option and managing it with gui tools then im glad mx works for you, but it seems overcomplicated with no practical benefit to me.

What can sysv do that systemd cant anyway?

  • I think you know its not just a matter of "clicking a setting in a gui once"

Why would you choose a non systemd based distro only to just switch it over to systemd? Why over complicate thinga for a new user who is clearly just starting out? Just use normal debian!

  • Mx linux is a bad chioce if you cant answer this yourself because its going to differ from most other debian distros. You probably want to use normal debian or linux mint if you are still learning.

To answer anyway; youll want to install lighttpd or similar server using apt, then firgure out the differences between sysvinit and systemd so you can properly configure the server to start.

If you just use debian instead, "sudo apt install lighttpd" would be enough to get everything started.

  • Point is you are setting yourself up for disappointment in the future.

Like you see this constant cycle of software becoming wosre as the companies want more and more money and your response is just "yeah but it wont affect my use case so i dont care"

Yeah im sure when it comes to plex, the app based off making pirates into paying customers, it wont fall victim to the same thing.

Gee leopards seem to be getting awful fat lately.
