\ If you can do a half decent backstitch then you should try pekinese stitch (the outline of the plate).
\ The sponge cake is made of bayeux stitch which is really fast to make ! But relies on satin stitch which is deceptively difficult.
\ The knitted looking one is not quite a detached buttonhole filling, also sometimes detached blanket stitch.
\ Also used: seed stitch, satin stitch and hungarian braided chain stitch.

Not quite the cherry on top, but I agree, it was a bit empty without it. Let's just say it's an organic strawberry 😅

"this type" of embroidery runs mostly on vibes, there are no rules 😁 I am just worried it's going to look too busy and take away from the cake, which should be the main focus. Maybe I will add something small, after I finish the cake.

I have yet to notice anythig different about the time to pour soy sauce in a dish. In any case, soy sauce first, then salt.

Patch it ? You can sacrifice one pant to donate patch material to save the others.
\ I find doing it by hand is easiest, as wrestling the pants under the machine is tricky. If you want a less visible mend, you can put the patch behind the broken fabric, at the cost of durability.
\ Press on patches also exist and seems to work fine, I don't have a lot of experience with it though.

One recommandation for patches in general, is to cover a much bigger area than the hole, otherwise you might have to redo it very soon.

Is the coat lined ? You could mend it through both layers or unstitch the lining and mend only the top layer. It is a tiny rip, but also a opportunity to practice adding a patch at the back of the fabric.
\ Satin stitch, fishbone stitch or buttonhole stitch could be an option to cover the repair. A little flower could also work, there are lot's of video tutorials that explain it well !

Faudrait essayer une mise en forme plus commune, type carré blanc au dessus de l'image ou texte du haut/texte du bas. Et ajouter du jpeg aussi, ca fait plus authentique. Sinon la blague est bonne !

Simple: Tout les parents auront pas l'organisation (voire l'argent) nécessaire pour envoyer les gosses au cours de sport en plus de l'école. Il y a aussi un risque que tout le monde s'inscrive au foot ou à la danse et ignore les sports moins typiques. Cela dit j'ai fait tellement de badminton durant ma scolarité, le second argument tient pas vraiment.
