He's so dramatic with his language that I assumed he was fudging the facts a little, but the more I've looked into it myself I'm realizing he's honest he's just really dramatic about it.
I just last month tried out Bazzite for fun and haven't switched back. I feel like an idiot for sticking with Windows as long as I did. I was the metaphorical frog in the pot of water not realizing how shitty it had become. I guess I should be grateful there isn't any program I need that's Windows only because Bazzite is better than Windows in every way I can think of.
Correct me if I'm wrong but what you're describing still sounds like a probabilistic output, right? Meaning it's not the same output every time (meaning it can't actually be doing math).
Same, I was not a Twitter user but the user base did seem generally more educated and I expected them to more easily identify the problem. It's not even like Twitter was some pleasant, socially responsible place when Jack Dorsey ran it. It was terrible and platformed all sorts of terrible people and the media pointed that out constantly.
Me and the tankies might not agree on the role of government in people's lives but we can (surprisingly) agree that social interactions should not be controlled by a CEO.
Someone here said that LLM chatbots are always "hallucinating" and it stuck with me. They happen to be correct a lot of the time but they are always making stuff up. That's what they do that's how they work.
