  • The arguments for how it will save people money are readily available, a cursory Google search will show you them. Your claim is the one that is not as easy to verify. You are claiming it will be more expensive even though we literally don’t even know what it would look like here. There are plenty of examples in other countries that are sustainable, why don’t you just take a look at those? Why don’t you look at all ofthe research that has been done on the subject? Lift a fucking finger before you spout your theoretical nonsense

  • You literally said - a complete blanket statement - that it would result in “higher income“ people paying more than they save. I said I don’t know how you could know that when the system doesn’t exist yet. Now you are completely shifting gears and not even addressing what you said initially, as well as narrowing the scope to MA for your (unsure why…?) example even though they have a very unique case.

  • The right wing bogeyman. If it were that simple, California would be as broke as Alabama and Louisiana would be New York.

  • I find the debate on the nicene creed fascinating as always, including your take. But where the fuck are you getting “raping kids is ok because we believe in the divinity of Jesus” [sic]?

Edit: yall fuck the Catholic Church and may they go completely bankrupt and dissolve for their crimes against humanity. I’m just not seeing where that line came from. The church doesn’t justify or defend what priests did, certainly not on based on the belief in Christ’s divinity. That is an absurd claim.

  • I don’t know how you can say with any confidence that the increase would not offset the elimination of their healthcare premium when the system literallydoesn’t exist.

  • Could you try explaining your experience instead of being an insufferable, patronizing ass? Or is that too much to ask?

  • Dude private torrent groups on Usenet are shutting their doors to outsiders everywhere and building motes lmao where have you been. If you don’t know someone really well it’s almost impossible to join one. The two I’m in say no to newbies constantly.

The Ugly Truth About Spotify Is Finally Revealed
  • This ratio has been true of music forever. We have always depended on filters to get to the good stuff. Used to be access to recording studios (hence labels fucking everyone), then DJ’s setting taste (had its own problems). Pick a period of time there’s always a group or economic filter separating wheat from the chaff (not perfectly but generally successfully?) which makes it hard for independent/lesser knows to break through.

Now everyone can record and publish easily, so it’s about finding shortcuts or tricks to game the system and get ahead. Or, as always, just get lucky 🤷‍♂️
