  • I medicate because otherwise I'd get nothing done. And that's not just work related, I mean my own personal projects and hobbies.

I used to think I could get by without, but as I turned 30 and was still procrastinating 90% of my free time away despite me desperately wanting to do something and that in turn also affecting my personal relationships. I needed to go sell help for medication. Even though I wasn't hallucinating.

  • In star wars you have to see their physical moment of life leaving them or their ghost to confirm their death. Anything else and they're able to come back.

  • Some poor pickings for acrobat there. Why no okular?

  • I mean it happened to me a few times when exploring. I don't know the names of the places. It was still kinda early on. I think the last place I tried to enter was the mushroom place? And i kept dying in there then had to travel what felt like half of a full zone to get back there because i had yet to find a bench in there.

  • First ones a classic too. Not seen the others though

  • I've been playing a little bit of final fantasy tactics on the PS1 on my little RG34XX (The GBA looking one)

  • There's plenty of moments in hollow night where it can be way more than just 3 screens. Especially when you're exploring places for the first time and doing know where the next bench will be (I felt like there was no way near enough benches too).

It's what made me eventually drop the game. I didn't find it hard, I just could not be arsed. Felt like a waste of time when I've got so many other games bI could be playing instead of playing the same 10-15 minutes of gameplay over and over again.

I love metroidvanias too. One of my favourite genres.

  • I feel like that's the case for a lot of our generation

  • I did this about 5 years ago. It was like all of my stupid childhood frustrations came out. But it was too much. I made my mam cry. But in the end I think this was for the best. Neither of us have clashed since that day. It's like we both found an understanding from each other and know that in those heated moments we never meant what we said. We're the closest we've ever been nowadays. But thinking about the moments afterwards, consoling my mam to ensure her that she wasn't in fact an awful mother, still makes me feel really bad inside. Even though it made way to a better relationship after it was all done.

  • I think the remake has better controls. Like just pressing triangle to add to a sleight for example. But the 3d playing field can make using them sleights a bit more awkward than on the GBA.

  • Bit annoyed at this because I've yet to see it.

Also I feel like it would've been better to keep it as thunderbolts* that way the rename happens during the film as you watch it instead.

  • Their repairability shouldn't be reduced that much more than what they already are to be fair

  • High school would be mostly secondary school I think.

Primary is like from ages 5-11, with secondary being 11-16.

    College/sixth form 16-19 and Uni 18+

  • Oh yeah absolutely i'd rather be next to a smoker than a vaper. But because smokers go to smoking areas that I obviously have no need to go to, I encounter inconsiderate vapers way more than I do smokers nowadays.

Only time smokers become a problem for me now is briefly walking past them or at outdoor festivals.

  • This is why i hate vapers way more than i hate smokers. At the very least smokers go elsewhere when they smoke.

(If you're vaping to quit though you have my respect)

  • As someone who grew up with the prequels. I always loved them. I don't hold the originals in that much high regard other than they came first and pioneered everything. However I do think empire beats episode 2. But return is the worst (only counting 1-6)

  • He was good at overarching plots which is why the prequels are solid in that regard, they got planned in advance. He falters when it comes to smaller plot moments that drive the characters and the audience to follow the overarching plot, the stunted dialog etc.
