So were the 1800's wave of European immigrants, that most white americans descended from, mostly naturalized or did they just use the 14th amendment too? I'm not be factious, I actually don't know but always assumed it was the former.

To be fair the 14th amendment was really only intended to give freed slaves citizenship. Which is something I'm sure the Supreme Court will cite as part of "original intent" they justify so many rulings with.

He wants lawsuits so he can appeal to the Supreme Court and they'll rule in his favor.

This couldn't have been Trump, he doesn't take office until January. Why is the media pretending to care about these stories now?

Fair enough but 45% is nearly half. It my not be the majority but my point is Trump is WIDELY supported by women.

I think we should laugh and ridicule these voters as much and as cruelly as possible so that they REMEMBER that this was THEIR fault and aren't talked into thinking it was progressives or Democrats several years from now.

What they will remember is my face laughing at them as they're hauled away because it's coming from someone they thought was beneath them. And that will make them remember why I laughed.

I do not care about the feelings of reactionaries even if they are from marginalized communities just as don't care about the harm they've inflicted on millions of undocumented immigrants that did not vote for Trump and these Trump supporters would have just as gladly watched them be deported if they weren't being included as well.

Fuck these sniveling liberal civility politics, they do not apply when we are talking about fascism.

The majority of women are libs. It was the majority of women that voted Trump. They're not going to do anything.
