What second generation console do you like the most? (Atari 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision, etc.)
  • I loved the 2600 because that was all we could afford when I was a kid. I liked the ColecoVision and Intellivision graphics better though. Luckily, some of my friends had both.

  • Try a Couch to 5K program. You start off mostly walking and slowly increase the amount of running. There are a bunch of great phone and watch apps. I like Watch to 5K for the Apple Watch (one-time purchase, no subscription).

  • Jedi Survivor. It now runs well on PC. One lingering issue is the huge stuttering when a cutscene triggers in the middle of gameplay.

  • Dragon's Dogma 2 - A very unique RPG. The new combat is a lot of fun.

Cod MW3 Zombies - Very few games master the smoothness of shooting like CoD. The gameplay loop is quite addictive. Cons - micro transactions and the tweaking required to get it stable on Steam.

Did you ever buy that toy you wanted as a kid but didn't get?
  • I had a Commodore 64 as a kid but we couldn't afford the disk drive (it was as much as the computer). I had to settle for a cassette drive. About 15 years later, I was at a garage sale and saw a C64 with disk drive but no cords. I asked the seller if it still worked. He said "For a dollar, does it matter?". Still have them.

  • I'm not affiliated with this YouTuber, but I thought this might be useful to someone else. I have a RTX 3080/Ryzen 5800x/32 GB machine and was hovering around 30-40 FPS even after turning a lot of settings down. I think I just haven't kept up with the best combination of settings. This video got me up to an average of 70-80 FPS (except for in denser areas, where it can drop to 45).
