My neighbor's exact thought process

  • In my part of Virginia, they have established noise laws. Seem pretty fair

    ordinance defines daytime as 7 AM–10 PM on weekdays and 9 AM–10 PM on weekends and holidays, and nighttime as any time outside of daytime. 

    The ordinance limits noise levels to 60 decibels during the day and 55 decibels at night in residential areas. 

    The law has a surprising amount of detail regarding things like vehicle noise, construction, etc.
