  • I didn't vote for Trump. And I don't care if he wins. I didn't vote for Harris. And I don't care if she wins.

I don't like either one of them.

My post history is public, so not sure why you think that's some big "gotcha" moment. In fact, here's the direct link to my post history: https://lemmy.world/u/UniversalMonk?page=1&sort=New&view=Posts

    Thank you! :)

  • Cute analogy, But that doesn’t apply to voting because voting isn’t a routine obligation—it’s an opportunity to choose what you believe in.

Just like choosing not to brush your teeth doesn’t change the necessity of dental hygiene, choosing to vote third party isn’t ignoring reality, it’s actively rejecting a system that fails to represent true change. Thanks! :)

  • Well, if you believe plenty of people don’t disagree with you, then neither you nor the Democrats should have anything to worry about or be upset about when it comes to third parties. Thanks, friend! :)

  • Looks like plenty of people disagree with you.

  • By your logic, anyone who votes for anyone is “helping” someone else.

If I truly wanted to help Trump, I would have voted for him—not a third-party candidate. So no, I didn't help Trump. I also didn't help Harris--and that's your main point.

And I'm proud I didn't help Harris. Because I didn't want to vote for her. Thank you! :)

  • Plenty of people are fed up with the Duopoly. If they don’t like that, then maybe they should focus on actually appealing to voters instead of pushing them away.

Personally, since I’ve been on Lemmy, I’ve become even more turned off by Democrats—the hate and vitriol I’ve seen is worse than anything I’ve encountered from Republicans.

I didn’t vote for either party when I cast my vote yesterday, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

  • Yesterday, I happily voted third party and dropped off my ballot. And I support RCV. People can do both. Thank you! :)

  • Yeah, that's the thing that stands out for me too. 19 freaking times. Over and over. Horrible.

  • And you're getting lots of comments removed for calling every single person that disagrees with you, a "troll." lol

Lemmy's not an echo chamber. Accept it.

  • Edit: a post every 17 minutes 24/7 dude. Your posts average once every 17 minutes for 6 months straight.

LMAO dude, I've only been here for 2 months.

You know there are timelines on my posts, right?! Right?! Take a look and you can easily figure out the times I post.

  • How is this propaganda?! It's a news article written by AP news. Thank you! :)

  • I don't post "propaganda." I post news articles written by news orgs. If you feel newsweek, CNN, Washington post, AP news, and Reuters are producers of propaganda, then you need to contact them and let them know you feelings.

Have you ever posted an article?! Serious question. It takes 3 seconds. You cut and past the web address and the article title. That's it. There is no bot posting or multiple people. The fact that you think that is laughable to me.

You're not mad about how many articles I post. You're mad because the articles I'm posting aren't ones you like. Big difference, friend. Thank you!

  • I'm not a bot. Like I mentioned before, the article is from the Washington Post. Thank you!

  • Ban me for what?! You really want me banned just because I said people shouldn’t celebrate when others are fearing for their lives?! Are you serious?!

  • Yep, agreed! I actually just dropped off my mail-in ballot today. Voted third party. Super happy and proud. And now Lemmys can't tell me who I'm gonna vote for, because I've already voted! :)
