Tears in the Rain (Joe Satriani cover)

Just finished recording this 7/8 prog rock instrumental. Awesome to have collaborated with such a fantastic session drummer! (And got to hone my video editing skills — still learning!).

Was listening to some Hans Zimmer stuff and was inspired to compose this instrumental piece. Largely acoustic but kicks in with some ambient orchestration around the 1:20 mark.

My wife burst out laughing when she heard my new instrumental… apparently because it reminded her of the This Is Spinal Tap Stonehenge scene. So fuck it. I named the track ‘18” Stonehenge’.
