It's going to be pretty easy to assess where the meteor will land once we get a few more observations, it's probably not going to hit the earth at all, Webb is capable of so much more and better things than to get caught looking for a piddly tiny rock that's caught the news cycles attention.

There's probably larger rocks headed our way that it would observe by chance while it was doing it's actual mission.

Taking time to reposition it to observe this spec of rock,, while there are other ways of observing that rock, is such a waste of mission time.

Definitely a top 20 in my book, one of my wife's top 5. I also love the book, it's very short story, you can probably read it in the time it'd take to watch the movie (I'm a slow reader and did it in a few hours), it doesn't add too much, but it's a bit of interesting mathematical philosophy which I found quite endearing.

Downloaded the shin magami tensi 5 demo,

Have never played any of that series.

Read it was a bit like persona (could never get into it because I don't care about managing the day to day activities of a high schooler), was pretty happy to learn that it wasn't (at least as far as I've gotten), it reminds me of the game boy color game 'dragon warrior monsters'

I thought about buying it, but I have so many unplayed games already, and while I enjoy a good monster collector game, I couldn't justify pulling the trigger.

Also it was a bit too similar to persona, when it did go on that direction, for me to be confident it wouldn't jerk back in that direction.

Maybe when I have all the time in the world I'll put time and money into that game, for now it's a half completed demo on my deck.

Defenders quest 2 just released after 10 years of development! I've been having a very enjoyable time with that, the initial launch was rough on the deck but the first patch worked out the interface issues it was having.

Also tried 'cat goes fishing', but a couple things are irking me about it, it's enjoyable enough and was cheap enough that I'm not upset.

Fired up 'prodeus' for the first time since activating it from a humble bundle (I think?) it has all the good feelings of the original doom, it's just a bit too stressful for me, especially at midnight when I tried playing it.

'boxes' is a kinda meh puzzle game, it's a bit high on its own farts, if it wants to be as deep and philosophical as I think it does, it needs to have much better puzzles, but if I ignore the story and don't think too much about the 'why not just break the glass' it's an enjoyable enough game.

A thought I had a few days ago,

The left is all about inclusivity and forgiveness unless you've made any amount of mispropriety, then it's a race to drop you as quick as possible.

The right is all about being held accountable for your transgressions, law and order, you do the crime you pay the time, but they have 0 cares about their leaders being held accountable.

I feel like each party is the watchdog for the others politicians, and the left is way too accepting of the right wings transgressions, while the right wing hammers the left as quick and hard as possible (except we just do it to ourselves!)

Interesting that's how Gaben got his yacht. (He legitimately purchased the yacht from an auction, the yacht was designed and developed with the stolen funds)

I Interned with the guys that put that together.

They had some interesting methodology, not nearly as bad (biased, fund chasing) as some of the other non profits I interned for.
