  • It sounds like they've been caught off guard just adding in renewables without firming.

    The real-time management of system frequency and voltage, load balance, fault and emergency response, black start facilities – all of these are conveniently forgotten. Synchronous condensers, grid forming batteries, backup generation, very long term storage, demand management, controlled load shedding are all absolutely critical and essential, yet don’t get a mention.

  • Hello sir!

    I don't quite understand why you're referring to me in 3rd person but anyway!

    If you've seen my other posts you'd know I've been a professional hater of the Greens ever since they went full identity politics and I've argued that the average Australian isn't as chronically online and obsessed with Gaza as people here are

    To quote myself:

    They can go fuck themselves to be honest

    https://aussie.zone/comment/13526416

    This is after voting for them either #1 or #2 since my first election back in 2007 (Kevin07)

    btw @eureka@aussie.zone

    I expect the Greens will gain votes and maybe even a seat or two

    😛

    One Nation’s rise in popularity has nothing to do with greeny lefties

    You're right, I didn't say that though :P since the election I've been saying that the Greens are not growing in size, when the electorate moved left they have stagnated, a party that has 9% of the vote and isn't growing in this political environment means they have hedged their bets on Gaza instead of things that matter.

    If One Nation is polling higher than the Greens in 2025 we have a serious problem here.

    Be better… argue a point with regard to reality, and change your mind when the facts change.

    Well you certainly burnt that straw man :P

  • I was a huge WWF fan back in the 90's when I was a kid right up until about 2003, so end of high school and then started watching UFC when Rhonda Rousey was fighting Holm back in 2015

    But over the last few years have stopped watching when President Dickhead started to show up at every event and sitting in the front row and hearing and seeing fighters simp for him🤮

    I've since moved onto the NRL and support the Dolphins, hopefully the Perth Bears give Perth some more (Australian) entertainment options

  • In an Australian-exclusive coup, Perth will host a back-to-back weekend of three iconic WWE events, kicking off with Friday Night SmackDownbefore excitement peaks on Saturday with the headline event, Crown Jewel: Perth, and closing out with Monday Night RAW.

    Additional WWE activations and fan events will take place in Perth, including:

    a free kick-off event open to the public at Forrest Place in the CBD on Friday, 10 October at 5pm, featuring appearances from WWE superstars including Bronson Reed, Grayson Waller, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins and many more;

    a WWE pop-up superstore offering exclusive merchandise will run from Thursday, 9 October to Monday, 13 October in Murray Street Mall;

    a one-kilometre custom lighting trail will guide fans from the merchandise superstore through Yagan Square to RAC Arena, featuring special effects and interactive screens showing AI-powered WWE superstars; and

    the pop-up Netflix Sports Club at the Northbridge Brewing Company on Saturday and Sunday, where fans can enjoy a tailgate-style party with interactive activities and an onsite barber offering WWE-inspired styles.

    First you got the UFC twice in a row? and now WWE as well

    Attracting WWE to Perth is part of the Cook Government's economic diversification strategy to host a year-round calendar of events, draw out-of-state visitors and generating valuable tourism dollars for local businesses and jobs.

    not because of your opinion but because you add nothing, just yelling racist does nothing for me

    btw the lefts embrace of islam is one of the most confusing and regressive moves ive ever seen, which probably explains how insane it is to read one nation is now polling ahead of the greens:

    The latest Essential poll in September put One Nation’s primary vote at 13%, ahead of the Greens on 11%

    In the two largest markets, namely China and India, which together accounted for 71% of the global coal consumption
