I agree with almost all of that, I would frame it as the aristocracy working for the investor class having seized the left options of all of our parties. We have choices between conservatives, and fascists now. Or far right or whatever the case may be.

Where we differ is that Russia has indeed been sponsoring fascists across the West. Now the US will be as well. They themselves are not all that dissimilar from fascists either.

Establishment propaganda notwithstanding Russia is helping fascists seize control in Western countries, partly I presume because they know these dumbass fascists will ruin their countries and allow them not only revenge but to take a more commanding position in the world. Not the least with the US.

They're doing the world that disservice though, innumerable harms will result from fascists in the US let alone the Domino's that are going to fall across the rest of the West.

What we need is a restoration of the post-war years until the seventies when the Business Roundtable made a long game to overturn the New Deal and resulting reforms that led to the prosperity of the working class, never before rivaled in history. Not now obviously. We are quite rivaled in prosperity, well eclipsed by Western europe.

Obviously it wasn't perfect in the post-war years but the rich after an obscene level of pay face 90% taxes. Banks could only operate in three states, consumer and Commercial Banking was separate, an originator of a Financial Security had to hold a percentage of that security until maturity, and Anti-Trust laws were enforced to name just a few achievements that have been undone in our modern era.

You are right that dropping the Constitution and making something new would lead to something worse at this moment in time. The Constitution is a solid framework however lacking it may be, it is just it is not honored by our political and Judicial Systems. We need a restoration.

The problem is they don't care what we think. They think they can just bully us into voting for the lesser of two evils indefinitely as if the Republicans are not going to fix elections. The Democratic Leadership and power Brokers are hopeless.

Without new leadership we are fucked and 2028 might be our last chance before the fix is in tight. And it will have to be a popular aggressive campaign to overcome the fixes they are going to put in already.

A lot of people are voting reform, we all know they don't know what the Republicans are necessarily.

With the Democrats running as the status quo in this time of the plutocratic stealing of our lunches, this was inevitable with Republicans running as a reform.

These Democrats need focus groups and studies to tell them what they should know already. Instead of making public opinion with a strong campaign they just play to the campaigns started by others.

We need new leadership. No shit, popular politicking is more popular in popular elections.

It was just decorum putting assets in trusts for prez, modern era laws did restrict other officials to some degree.

In 2016 the Republicans just refused to honor those laws and nobody held them to account, now they are not really bothering to pretend. Open corruption.

The Constitution does forbid emoluments, but that is ignored by our captured (in)justice department.

I am intrigued as to their system of electing two of everything. I think that could help alleviate a lot of our problems. Two attorney generals, to secretaries of Agriculture or state, Etc.

More than anything though I think we should reestablish the Tribunate, vested with the power to veto government actions and offer sanctuary and all that.

Experience in politics is a detraction nowadays. They are all sold out to greater and lesser degrees with a few exceptions like my man bernie but even he backs off some issues.

On Reddit threads about this I volunteered something that I had read about the cage free and other labels being meaningless and a marketing Ploy oftentimes and I got a lot of Engagement by people that knew a lot more than I did that were saying that basically all of those labels are meaningless except for I think the pasture one.

These agricorps are heartless, maximizing revenue is their only concern. As such they have Enlisted the federal and state governments to go after the animal rights activists exposing their abuses of animals that could hurt their profits, working on getting them classified as terrorists as we speak I have read in the intercept.

Everything is going to shit here and almost nobody seems to realize it, not to the degree they should realize it.

We need to organize.

Al jazeera's now defunct investigations podcast did a piece on the labor files, internal labor correspondence that was leaked to Al Jazeera in regards to their labor establishment's Crusade against Jeremy Corbyn and his supporters that were trying to run a populist reform party and got a lot of support amongst the populace despite establishment labor sabotaging at every turn.

The establishment of Labor hated them, hated them more than the conservatives by a long shot. They ended up using bad faith allegations, of anti-semitism, but also others, often times evidently false allegations that were provably untrue, but they controlled the enforcement mechanism of the party and they drummed them all out.

Of the anti-Semitism allegations, the Jewish people in the party were more likely than the others to be kicked out for anti-semitism. It is about the same as the allegations the current US Administration is making against universities and their students.

So, the aristocratic status quo faction still controls labor, and this shit show of a labor government, the illegalizing the right to protest, declaring direct action protests terrorism and falsely associating anybody protesting the same thing with them to charge them with supporting terrorism, creating a masturbatorbase for the state to have a record of every page somebody has considered whacking off to, as well as having their likeness and ID connected to their IP address so they can see everything you have done and said online, is the result.

All across the West the left versions of parties have been seized by Aristocrats working for the investor class. Which Dooms us to the new right winning eventually across the West supported by fascist Russia and now fascist America, to instill their own far right governments that will try to fix elections to remain in power indefinitely that will naturally degenerate into worse and worse despotism.

That is interesting thanks. As an aside an herbal I was doing for a while, Devil's Club, also known as Alaskan wild ginseng, opplopanax horridum, that I harvested for a bit, is a very powerful medicine in a great many ways.

Some of the earlier Russian scientists that were looking at it back when they had Alaska, wrote that they found that it seemed to inhibit the removal of alcohol from your body.

There was a study in British Columbia around 2017 or so where they gave brain damaged rats some super potent form of THC in massive quantities and those rats reprogrammed and rewired their brain damaged brains while the control group did not.

Last summer through fall I restarted drinking after nearly a decade of very light occassional drinking, about 12 or more ipa's a day, two hearted ipa and a local one.

Roomate was cool but drank a liter of scotch a day, happy drunk though, both of us. Worst he did was exitedly tell or play things for you he had previously, especially of his glory days.

I previously quit for a decade almost completely, drinking like you a couple here and there, by restarting running distance, also using kratom to help get started until the endorphins take over.

Physical exertion and alcohol do not go well together, I wanted to go running not drink.

I restarted drinking homebrew by choice just last year. Working on maple wines and other herb infused drinks, with syrup I make, until I start malting barley and growing hops to make ipa. But I do not get falling down drunk and am happy regardless but I choose to get buzzed lately if at home, I may mostly transition to traditional herbals soon though.

Is this a known medical condition, alcohol intolerance?

I know enzymes in the body break down and remove it, and certain people genetically have more or less depending.

Cultures that have been drinking for thousands of years have more of the enzymes, those that just started have way less like the natives in america and I think australia but idk on that. Basically the entire old world has more of the alcohol metabolizing enzymes from eurasia to africa. Not sure of inuits and far northern tribes but if they milked animals in prehistory they probably fermented milk for kefir.

Also women metabolize alcohol less than men due to these enzymes.

So the same amount of alcohol can have wildly more or less pronounced inebriation even before taking tolerance into account.

A lot of of the labels on eggs are meaningless as to the welfare of the animals. Cage free eggs are often raised in giant warehouse concentration camps for instance.

Most of these terms are not regulated, I believe the only term that means anything is like pasture raised if I recall, and even that there is a lot of differences as to the welfare of the animals.
