  • This is how I would do it in yuzu. I’m guessing it’s the same.

Open suyu right click on the game, click on open save location. Then drag these files somewhere safe.

If anything gets messed up, just replaced the messed up files with the saved ones.

  • I think, you can just update the game. I don’t think you would lose your save file, but Nintendo doesn’t offer a backup solution without paying their subscription. But I’m not sure how that works.

I have a modded switch and backup saves manually to be safe.

  • I honestly think it’s a coping mechanism that is hard wired into us.

Most if not all ancient civilizations independently had some sort of belief in a higher power.

It’s a way to deal with the death of a loved one and your own mortality.

  • Companies have been pushing VR so long now. I'll say that I think the tech is cool and the idea is cool, but I will literally never use them.

I can't wear them while working as I am in meetings 99% of the time.

I would not wear them in my free time, as I do not want to disassociate from my wife and cats.

  • I think SMT and Persona being different games in the same universe is what is confusing me. Is one series considered better than the other generally? Is there some thing that makes these two series different from each other in some significant way?

  • Yes, but it will have the same limitations.

The main problem is that the PC version is ahead of phones and switch. So a newer save file cannot be put onto an older version of the game.

My wife have a 400 hour file on the switch and wants to play the newer updates, but doesn't want to play on a laptop. So, she is kinda stuck waiting to play the update.

  • Thanks for the recommendation. I was wondering why you recommended SMT4 on 3DS. But I now realize that it is different than persona 4. I guess it is a bit confusing for me still. I think I am more interested in the mainline series. I found an English translation of SMT 1 and 2 for snes.

How different is Persona from SMT?

  • No, but if your on an emulator it’s much easier.

The save file is compressed on switch. You should be able to google search the name of the program. It will decompress the switch files and then you can just place them where the PC saves go.

But it’s only useful if you plan to switch to of permanently.
