I also enjoyed Andromeda but I just can't get myself to replay it. I replayed the Trilogy multiple times but I just couldn't replay Andromeda, it felt like a chore.

It's going to be a long transformation. Football is a male-dominated sport with men at the top. It will be a slow process to change the culture.

I agree. The types of AIs that we have today are nothing more than mixers of various mental conceptions to create something new. These mental conceptions comes with life experience and is influenced by a person's world view.

Once you remove this mental conception, will the AIs that we currently have today be able to thrive on their own? The answer is no.

This question lacks social context. Are we talking about USA, Canada, UK, France, China, Japan, Morocco, Australia, South Africa?

There are 7 billion people on earth with NUMEROUS cultures. To have a serious discussion we need to know the society in question.

Because SMS is unreliable. On several occasions, SMS messages have either been delayed by hours or simply never reached their destination. Mind you, that's my experience here in Canada.

Nah. That's North America. iPhones in North America have become a status symbol, you have to be available on iMessage, otherwise they'll contact you by SMS. I know a lot of people in Canada who have no other messaging app (WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, etc.). They only communicate via iMessage.

Agreed. They should leave legacy fail proof technology in place.

Think about it this way. It's a social project. Everybody does their part to help. If they can only help once, great! If they have time to help a few hours a week, great! If they want to help in a significant way, great!

With these social projects, the most important thing is to help, even once.
