  • But he is right. As long as a distro is maintained by one individual, it is at risk of being discontinued at any time he can no longer maintain it.

  • Manjaro Linux. It has treated me well for two years. (Yes, I know about the controversy, I have had no problems with the distro for the last two years).

  • For old posts. I can't find new posts on DDG. I find them on Google but not on DDG.

  • Ah come on! Why no Firefox support?!?

  • It is clearer. What I learned at work is to write documents in high school language so that everyone can understand them.

  • It is well known that many multiplayer games like Valorant do not work on Linux due to kernel anticheat. Unfortunately, this is a part of Linux gaming life.

  • People, read the developers comments:

We know many of you are eager to play Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut on handheld gaming devices like the Steam Deck. We're happy to share that the single player experience, including the Iki Island expansion, can be enjoyed on Steam Deck and similar handheld gaming PCs as we’ve worked extensively to optimize performance and deliver the best possible experience on these devices. You may notice that Steam marks the game as 'Unsupported' for Steam Deck. This is due to the Legends co-op multiplayer mode requiring Windows to access PlayStation Network integrated features. On behalf of everyone at Nixxes and Sucker Punch, we can't wait for PC players to start their adventure and fight for the freedom of Tsushima! They strictly say that unfortunately it requires Windows to access PSN integrated features, so the multiplayer will not work because it requires said features. The singleplayer should work though. Since Concord is completely multiplayer, it needs the PSN features that only work on Windows.

  • Yup.

  • More detail is good for technical users, but extremely confusing for non-technical users. There needs to be a balance between what's good for both groups, and I think the current design is a good one.

  • Capitalist system = we'll acknowledge climate change only when it will seriously begin to hurt our bottom line. By then, it will be already too late. Earth will be f***ed.

  • Sound advice. During my first year of computer science, one of my professors told me that programming languages are just a tool to solve a problem. The logic to solve it is the key. Whether it's Java, Python, Go, etc. If you don't know how to tell the computer what to do, you can't program anything in any language.

  • More like c/mildlyterryfing

  • What in the actual f*&%:

According to park officials, the man, who was with three friends, climbed out of his vehicle and walked towards the animals to take photos.

So tourists think that they are domesticated animals?! They're not dogs. Respect nature.

  • My experience was with Apple News. When I wanted To cancel before the end date, it told me I would lose access to the trial.

  • Unfortunately, a lot of companies do this now, including Apple. I made it a habit to create a reminder to cancel before the end date.

  • Thank you for your awesome work!

  • Yup, and now it will bite him in the ass. Imagine if we had coalition governments in Canada that actually represented the Canadian voice. The parties will have to make concessions and actually talk to each other like in a marriage.
