I get the feeling they're trying to avoid martyrdom. He needs to go to prison for the big things, not on technicalities.

I like to imagine op thinks the guy is sneaking in alcohol and buying an empty cup from the theater. The Texas man is pissed because he doesn't know what to do with the remaining 2 oz after he planned on their cup holding 24oz.

The only way he gets ousted is if all Democrats vote it as well. These articles assume that will be the case, but things are a bit different than with McCarthy. Time will tell, but I don't know if the Dems would all vote for it at this point. They may even do the opposite just to fuck with the far right members who are gunning for him, which would be fucking hilarious imo

This is how I'm leaning too. If done appropriately this should be no different than "this is a reenactment of events" seen in 90s and 00s true crime shows.

The big challenge is getting the content creators to respect that template and not bury the disclosure in the credits.

I also just finished episode one. I agree, there are definitely signs they are trying to be quirky like the old man saying "Get back here! Well that didn't go as expected" when she left the vault, but I think they need to lean into it more. Something is just a little off.

I'm right there with you. Hopefully mobile for 2 is better suited for phones, makes it easier to find the time. The first one is designed for tablets and makes reading and playing cards difficult.
