The German Federal President is elected by parliament + some representatives from each regional council, so I don't think that's a threat for now but it certainly will in the next popular vote.

Not saying Europe is in the best shape but you have a President threatening war to stay in power, accepting Qatari bribes, saying he wants to be treated like kim jon un, etc.

It's not even close.

The landlords aren't doing anything wrong, if the market price is too high you have to increase supply it's that easy.

Worse? It would be much better in my opinion.

We are witnessing the downfall of American democracy. Hopefully Europe holds.

I think the bigger news is that if it happens she's going to step down as President of the European Commission.
