Have you considered emigrating from the US? If so, where to?

  • I've cancelled all my streaming services. Technically I stream my Bandcamp collection, but I still bought it so it's somewhat a different model.

    The recent wave of artists taking their music off Spotify and how much AI is plaguing that app made me pull the plug.

    • Is there anything you're into that no one or basically nobody is into?

  • I'm sure there's probably someone out there, but I'm really interested in cool border crossings and how they represent nations on each side. As much as I am no nationalist, I find those projections of strength, friendship, security, etc. all super interesting.

    Oh, and fake/fantasy transit maps. Those are always fun to draw up in my spare time.

    • More for folks from walkable environments, my question is: would you walk an hour and 15 minutes to go to say, the library?

  • I think the most I would walk is around 40-45 minutes. So no, 1h15m would be far too long to justify walking. Maybe on the weekend if the library was super nice?
