  • Just following up on many of the comments that ask, are you allowing enough rest/recovery? … I have a Garmin watch that gives a training status that I find a good indicator of whether my exercise is benefiting me or not. If my “load” is the same or going up and my “fitness” is going down it’s a good indicator that I’m not getting enough rest or that my current exercise has plateaued. I find it a good prompt to rethink what I’m doing.

  • I see your points. There’s also Havertz in the 8 which frees up Rice for time at 6. Can’t hurt to have more experienced bodies though. As long as Mikel can find a way to keep everyone sharp and engaged.

  • And while I’m not disagreeing with this, it is also ok to check in with yourself and notice “ok, I have uncomfortable feelings” but then ask the question “Am I in danger?”. We all get uncomfortable some times but we’d never do anything new if we always stop ourselves just because we’re uncomfortable. The trick is learning the difference between good/safe uncomfortable and bad/dangerous uncomfortable, and to learn that you need to practice being with your feelings. Read up about exposure therapy.

  • Disagree. Jellyfin and ATV could definitely be better, but for the most part it works for me without issue.

Try using the Infuse app instead of Swiftfin. Again, not perfect but it’s the best client I’ve found.

  • I get the bitter taste in the mouth, but when the alternative is Windows???? I made my choice and bought an iMac recently so that I could finally ditch the last windows pc in the house (everything else is Linux). And then had my work PC updated to Win11 last week. Uggghhh …
