Not really.

Black Lives Matter is a movement specifically to shed light on how cops abuse their power towards people of color and frequently go unpunished for it. Black Lives Matter is not about addressing how white people may suffer at the hands of police brutality and if you're trying to argue that it is, then you're either disingenuous or ignorant.

You do have a point though, where both feminism and Black Lives Matter focus on one group over people over others.

No it's not. It clearly favors one side, but then people are saying it's about equality.

If whatever feminism is trying to describe is truly about equality, then we should use a term that isn't biased.

There should be a different word that doesn't favor one side if it's about equality.

Anyone who is tired of people misconstruing the meaning of the word 'feminism' should be trying to find a better word that means what they are trying to convey.

For one, I don't like a term that's supposed to promote equality clearly favoring one side in its name.

For two, most feminists I've met genuinely hate men and think they're owed superiority, not equality, for the treatment of women in the past.

It's my understanding that the only benefit gas stoves have over electric is that they are cheaper to operate.

As someone who has played video games most of their life and came up with every excuse in the book to avoid reading, I'm letting you know that you should try to develop an appreciation for it.

I'm realizing in my adulthood just how much school has hurt my impression of reading.

Throughout most of my life, I was so used to reading something and then having someone else explain it to me, that I never had the confidence to go off and read things on my own.

Women already read at way higher rates than men, but since so many of them are swept up in the social media hysteria, they literally don't have time or patience to do it any more.

Most libraries will actually let you check out books "indefinitely," as long as you come back and renew every once in awhile.

If this church is splitting up checking out these books among different members, then it would be very difficult for a library to properly detect and enforce restrictions on them.

Even if the library could identify these people and put methods in place to stop them from what they're doing, it would still be a hassle and the church could be happy with just inconveniencing the 'liberal' library.

I mean, these places are just grocery stores at this point. That's all Target is for me.

If I bought games, I would just buy them digitally or order a physical copy if for whatever reason that's what I want.

Books? Free downloads at anna's archive.

Movies? Free streaming sites and 1337.

Olive oil...? Decent? Isn't it all kind of the same thing? Lol. But yeah, that's just a grocery item you can get anywhere else.

They are competing with Walmart and Kroger, as a grocery store. That said, it's not much of a competition because you can buy the same damn groceries at Walmart for cheaper than Target, always.

As always, this law doesn't exist to benefit workers like you and me. It exists to benefit our rulers and should be another example of how government representatives do not represent their populace.
