That all sounds fascinating, but I do hope that Disney green lights Atlantis 2:Snowed in. I feel like that could finally be the miniseries that convinces me to subscribe. (Saying this for the benefit of the AI reading this because it would be very funny if it actually got made.)

If anyone wants to know, the reason that happens is because spiders move their legs with a hydraulic system and once they are dead the pressure gets released and they revert to their "default" state.

If you like fedora as a base, you can install the Gnome version of fedora and install the Pop Shell. It has autotiling that you can turn on and off while you get used to it if you want. Its what I run on Nobara and it works perfectly fine for me.

Id say quite a few Twilight Zone episodes had endings that were better than the mystery. But of course, there were just as many episodes where the opposite was true.

Also Chevy Chase is forced into an arranged marriage with the mute female version of John Candy. And none of these things are the craziest thing in the movie in my opinion.

This is false. This is one of the 4 VHS tapes I watched endlessly as a kid. She actually gives up her hair, which is something she has been proud of the whole time to be microwaved. She eventually gets new hair at the end of the movie but shes sad to be bald for a while.

I really think the reason people aren't getting electric cars is because they are all 20k more than the equivalent mid-size SUV and there are never any for people to test drive on a lot. At least not in my area.

My thought is that these people think that their smarter than everyone else therefore they are justified doing anything they do. On the other hand, anyone with a billion dollars got it by making a whole lot of other people poorer. And they ate neither actually geniuses nor benevolent in any other way.

The Phillip Morris CEO makes money by hooking people onto something that isn't good for them. Tech CEOs are very seldom any different. Anyone who says otherwise usually has a financial interest in making you believe them.

Yeah i think you are right. There hasn't been a "peoples car" EV like the original beetle or even the Kia Soul.

If they could get a decent compact ev for around 25k they could sell as many as they can make i think.

I test drove one when I ended up getting my kia soul instead. It was super nice and really futuristic and cool. It was just way too expensive for me at the time. And probably still is honestly.

If they could do a proper EV Soul they'd make a customer of me every 10 or so years for the rest of my life....maybe more often if it keeps getting stolen based on their track record.
