> Got this from a post on the alien site. From previous discussion on Lemmy it sounded like Linux users had good things to say about this game but were discouraged about the upcoming FaceIt implementation such that they wouldn't be able to join anticheat enabled matches. Those users and Linux gamers on the fence would probably appreciate hearing this news.

> With this announcement on the dev team's community Discord, it appears Linux users will NOT lose access to matches with anticheat.

I'm playing on ThinkPad L14 Gen 2a with Ryzen 7 PRO
5850U and 32 GB ram, I was wondering how can I squeeze more FPS from the game. Currently, I'm running potato graphics with 1280x720 resolution and I still get around 80-90 FPS on 127v127 games (it's better on smaller games). Thank you!
Do you know how helmets work with headshots? Is headshot one shot one kill every time with a sniper in Battlebit Remastered, or you can avoid it by using a heavy helmet?
When you get to the edge of a map, you just get stuck running. There isn't any indication that you're at the end. I suppose people will get used to boundaries in the end. But for now, I get killed a lot trying to take cover in a boundary.
Also, has anyone noticed that you stop randomly while you're running, like there is a wall there? I think if you jump, you get to keep going. I'm sure it's a bug in the game, not just me, right?
The low-poly 254 player Battlefield-esque shooter BattleBit Remastered is off to a strong start following its June 15 launch after jumping to the top of Steam’s global top-sellers list earlier this week, temporarily out-performing big titles such as Street Fighter 6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ...
BattleBit Remastered is a low-poly, massive multiplayer FPS, supporting 254 players per server. Battle on a near-fully destructible map with various vehicles!
