There’s a handful of stickers in here from my Bachelor Party and a few other occasions we’ve traveled to breweries for as well. Special call out to Lone Pine. They catered the beer for my wedding and set me up with a 12 pack of their glasses as a little gift. Also to Whalers Brewing for hosting our rehearsal dinner. > > !Photo of the top > > !And Side > > The cooler took a few hard hits off-roading in Moab, so some stickers are already in need of a cover up. What’s the point of having a cooler like this if you don’t take it places? I’ll just need to go to more places for more stickers 😉

IMO: these folks are best in Massachusetts.
Yes, better than Treehouse or Trillium.
Their flavor profiles are distinctive and tasty. They do a great job with NEIPA, Lager, Pilsner, and Sours(Harvester Scythe) is awesome. Weakness is the stouts.
If you're around New England, lots of places carry their flag ship called: "Blue Comet". Cheers! 🍻
Full disclosure... I am NOT affiliated or financially connected in any way. Just a lover of great brews.
Long Live Beerworks is my favorite in Rhode Island (Providence). Little over a year ago they opened a 2nd spot in Roxbury (Boston). They have great Jazz every Thursday night. ❤️ Long Live Roxbury!
Makes a great brewery even better. These folks are best of NH, IMO.

Wow, what a project - and an opportunity to get a unique tick on Untappd or Beer Advocate (BA) though I'm not sure the beer style is listed. :) More importantly, I would love to have tried beer that our ancestors drank.
They took this project to be authentic as possible - down to utensils, #barrels, equipment, and open fire to #brew

In September 2021, after several years of preparation, the FoodCult team recreated a beer last brewed in the sixteenth century. In Ireland and across early modern Europe, beer was integral to social life and a vital source of nutrition. But up to now we have had little sense of what that beer was like, how strong it really was, and how much energy it provided. By reconstructing the recipes, equipment, and techniques used at Dublin Castle four hundred years ago, FoodCult set out to answer these important questions.
This virtual exhibition will lead you through the project, from the rationale to the reconstruction to the results. It is organized in five chapters, which you can follow sequentially or by clicking on the individual links below.

Mock "Mai Tai" didn't really hit off for me. The barrel age stout was yummy, other was too nut forward for me. Both IPAs had a nice flavor, smooth drop back without any hop burn.

It’s been five years since Wayfinder brewed its first cold IPA and more than two since it went mainstream. Despite predictions of a passing fad, breweries continue to embrace that lean, “wester than West Coast” frame. Here, Firestone Walker brewmaster Matt Brynildson muses on what defines it—and wha...
I know this is a tiny community and my chances of generating significant discussion are small, but we have to start somewhere.
I like beer. I am lucky enough to have a lifestyle where at the end of most days I get a chance to sit with a beer and listen to some music. I like to try different beers and most times I go shopping I get a mixed 6 pack. If I find something I like I might get a few more of them next week etc.
Last weekend I was buying beer at an unfamiliar location, it was crowded and I just wanted out so I grabbed a 12 pack of Alexander Keith's IPA (I'm in Nova Scotia). The main reason I went for the 12 pack of mass produced was cost - buying individual cans of craft beer I'm paying $4-$6 per can - it adds up.
Now we finally get to to reason for my post - I'm really not enjoying the Keith's IPA and I don't have the language to describe why. I can't say any more than it tastes watery and reminds of other cheap mass produced beers.
I've been to tasting sessions where the server describes the tastes of the various beers on a flight etc., but the information doesn't get retained. Maybe I'm not supposed to share my tasting experience with anyone? Any suggestions for reading, or other experiences, that might help me improve my beer language?

Old firehouse that I actually worked in is now a brewpub! Mug club!

> I guess I haven't been paying attention because I just found another Trappist brewery that I was not aware existed. Apparently opened in 2017. Has anyone tried this? I'm going to pick up some this weekend and report back.
