Got a Bambu P1S but the build are low quality
Hey guys I got the bambu P1S a couple months ago because it was recommended. I'm super new to 3d printing. This is my first one. I'm not new to electronics or computers. I ran a few of the built in prints, a dinosaur puzzle and this scraping tool but both came out fuzzy and in poor build shape. What can cause this? Shaky table? Cold temps (the printer is in my insulated garage getting around 65 degrees at the moment inside)? Is the stock bed bad? The filament it came with bad?
Thanks for any advice.
Is that white filament the one that came with it? If it is, it is only meant as support material. Use the orange or green in AMS slot one and try again.
Wow I think you're right. The bag even said something along the lines "this isn't filament" and I'm like uh. It looks like filament. I'm an idiot.
It's ok, my dude. We all make simple mistakes like this. I've cost myself entire rolls of filament before. If you ever have any questions, give me a shout, I'll give you a hand.
Damn fine callout here, it definitely looks like the AMS there is loaded up with the green, orange, and pla support
Is the white one a different material then? PVA?
Not sure, I've never opened mine. This is it here: https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/support-for-pla?variant=40524454723720
TDS says it's still PLA.
