  Though still waiting for jumper weather for myself, keen to bust they hoodie soon!
Are there any legitimate people who use Telegram, or is it all just paedophiles and scammers?

- Myself and my extended friend group all use it for primary chats
- We used it for a little while in the Ingress community, back when Ingress was a thing, after Google deprecated the chat app we previously used. I forget the details. @TerrorBite@pawb.social / @TerrorBite@meow.social might have more of value to say (as the only other BNE Ingress player I'm aware of on the fediverse).
  But also, we were a community that heavily used Google+, so perhaps not the most representative sample anyway.

  Hangouts? Man I miss Hangouts. For a while there was a golden age where it supported text, voice calls, video calls, SMS, file transfers... Just everything in one package. One of the features I really loved is that photos sent in Hangouts were put in albums under Google Photos which made them easy to find again.
  Then they took features away. Then they took more features away. Then they took the app away.
  Funny old company Google.
