Anybody watching Resident Alien?
I added it to my watch list because Robert Duncan McNeill is an executive producer, and finally started on it yesterday. Definitely enjoying it so far.
I'm only partway through the first season, but it's basically "What if ET was kind of a jerk?" (or possibly "What if Dr. House was an alien?") If you've seen it, no spoilers please, but curious if anyone else has watched it and their thoughts on it.
I really enjoyed when another Firefly cast member had a reoccurring cameo.

8I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes. I thought it was entertaining and didnt intend to stop, but I just kind of stopped putting it on. I really liked the actor for the main character, he has a talent for physical comedy.

Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but his growly alien voice sounds a lot like Jeffrey Combs.

I've watched it a few times, it's pretty funny
4First season was entertaining enough, second season got me to stop watching pretty quickly
4I really didn't like the first two episodes in season two but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. Overall, I thought season two was better than season one.

I really enjoyed the first season.
4I watched the first few episodes and thought it was enjoyable, although anecdotally, I’ve heard it’s distinct from its comic forebear (which takes a darker, drier tone). Thus, I think I will probably read the comics after I have completed the series just so I esteem the two as separate entities.
3I tried it, it's not for me. It felt very stupid and contrived. It's cool that you're enjoying it though.
