that is probably related to your instance, i use liftoff too and there isn't much delay
21Connect loads so much faster than liftoff, which sucks because I like liftoff better if it wasn't an original EverQuest zone loading screen everything I looked at a post.

I switched to another instance about an hour ago and you're right. I can finally browse comfortably again (on liftoff as well)

The irony is that we left Reddit for how they killed quality apps, and on Lemmy we're no way close a single properly functioning one still, despite some incredibly great efforts by devs.
6I think that's a bit harsh. I have Jerboa liftoff and connect installed and they are all good. Are they as good as apps that had a decade to polish up? No, but they're pretty damn good for some new apps and they're certainly nowhere near broken.
