17I'm choosing to believe the comedic irony is deliberate here.
35Technically the comic should read "Konsi's passive perception is normally 29" - she doesn't have the shield on her here, so it's only 24... but her reputation with the party is one that is commensurate with the 29, that's the level they're used to her operating at.

She’s starting to relax about it at this point.
Konsi is normally quite anxious and shy, lacking in confidence - but here she’s had a couple of days to think about this, work it through in her mind, and plan for it.
When Konsi knows what she’s supposed to be doing, when has a plan, she’s often very competent. She struggles with responsibility and decision making, rather than execution.
