- They work well on my Galaxy Tab A7 and Steam Deck, including the hardware buttons.

Am I really weird in that all this coverage of cables and wired headphones seems irrelevant? Bluetooth headphones are cheap, wireless chargers are cheap, and other than a slight change in behavior they work the same with some extra conveniences.

Is it really that weird that I never plug my phone into anything?

- No, it's not weird, and rumor has it that for years now Apple has wanted to make a portless phone.
  
  I think they want to make money off of accessories and dongles but they're all a bit inconvenient tbh. I do think all phones should have headphone jacks though.

Suspect they are still not compatable with my ears, and would fall out if I tried them, but good to see they are finally going with universal charge.
